  • Overview

    Provides high-level process/work product control support to the organization. Position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement successful & complete CM function for the Company
    • Process test article conformity requests, track test article conformity, and assist with conformity paperwork
    • Maintain master drawing lists & regulatory compliance database for all products
    • Plan & coordinate the preparation of project documentation such as engineering drawings, production specifications & schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure contract requirements are met
    • Review contracts; determine documentation required for each project phase; apply knowledge of engineering & manufacturing processes
    • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product & system
    • Coordinate modification records for management control
    • Establish change orders & prepare for change authorization & documentation by company & subcontractor
    • Review & analyze released engineering change data; coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent related experience)
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience developing, building and managing complex CM systems
