  • Overview

    Provides warehouse leadership support to the organization. Position reports to the Director of Operations.


    • Supervise shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
    • Develops, with management, and recommends changes to Warehouse policies and procedures  
    • Responsible for the ERP system related to assigned area
    • Responsible for government and customer property management
    • Support incoming inspection activities
    • Support compliance-related efforts such as audits and inspections
    • Responsible for regular cycle counting and inventory metrics per established procedures
    • Responsible for Continuous Improvement Program for Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control processes and associated equipment such as delivery truck, lifts (gas & electric), etc.
    • Plan, develop, and implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities
    • Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments
    • Direct the training and performance evaluations of warehouse staff and oversee their daily activities
    • Collaborates with management for all hiring activities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate’s degree in a related field (or equivalent related experience)
    • Minimum of 5 years of related materials handing experience PLUS 2 years experience supervising personnel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred
