  • Overview

    Provides high-level technical management to the organization. Position reports to the PMO Manager.


    • Own program development, planning and execution
    • Manage project initiation and scope definition
    • Develop and control budget(s)
    • Manage timely completion of program deliverables
    • Develop and lead proposal initiatives
    • Oversee procurement for projects/programs
    • Ensure quality and accuracy of program work outcomes
    • Provide quick resolution for problems and roadblocks
    • Develop and maintain a program schedule with milestones
    • Report program status including progress, productivity, risk and quality metrics
    • Manage program communication
    • Coordinate and manage program meetings
    • Provide oversight for projects under the program umbrella
    • Ensure that projects are aligned with program goals and objectives
    • Provide quick resolution for project issues
    • Identify opportunities for synergy with other programs and initiatives
    • Align program with organizational goals and objectives
    • Contribute to strategic planning activities
    • Validate and verify that program deliverables are fit for purpose
    • Develop and communicate program level quality metrics
    • Optimize performance across the program value chain applying continual improvement best practices
    • May lead and direct the work of others   

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 6 years of related technical project or program experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    PMP Certification
