  • Overview

    Provides production planning support to the organization. Position reports to the Director of Operations.


    • Plan process for jobs through the manufacturing/distribution facilities from order receipt to delivery consistent with the company’s overall production control strategy, policies and procedures
    • Works with internal customers to track job specific purchased items, coordinate flow of information to all involved parties and ensure appropriate communication
    • Maintain computerized schedule to ensure access to each project is available at all times
    • Coordinate with production, engineering, project managers and/or other departments to ensure goals are met
    • Ensure schedules are met and maintained daily
    • Record and maintain production-related data into computerized databases/logs
    • Produce reports on progress of work, performance, job costs models, production schedules, etc.
    • Apply knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
    • Rely on judgment and experience to perform the functions of the job
    • Certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
    • May provide information to others and appropriately shares information and knowledge to achieve desired goals

    • Provide support and assistance to Purchasing and Warehouse activities as required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate’s degree in a related field (or equivalent related experience)
    • Minimum of 3 years experience with manufacturing program planning & scheduling
